November Favourites | Countrified Charm

It’s that time again for a monthly favourites roundup! A few repeats this month from previous posts, but I love some of this stuff so much that I just couldn’t resist. Let’s not waste any time.

As someone who loves Bath and Body Works, you’d think I would have used more of their shower gel over the years. Yet, this was my first go and I love love love it. The smell of this is so pretty (almond flower, white iris & whipped vanilla) and festive. Just perfect for this time of year! The formula is great too – very refreshing and clean. Definitely would recommend! Lucky for me, I got them in a buy 3 get 2 free day – can’t complain about that!

Bath and Body Works – $12.50

img_7717Pantene Pro-V Damage Detox Daily Rebuilding Conditioner

Up until recently, I’ve been using Arbonne’s FC5 conditioner. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money on another bottle, so I thought I’d try something new. In my last favourites post, I talked about Pantene’s Damage Detox Weekly Repair shampoo, which I love. I thought I’d give the conditioner a shot as well. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s great. It smells lovely and keeps my hair clean and lessens damage. If you use a lot of product (I tend to use dry shampoo a lot), this conditioner is excellent to replenish hair and keep it fresh!

Drugstores – $10.49

mask1Origins Out of Trouble 10 Minute Mask

If you read my last post on my skincare routine, you would already know that I love this mask. I purchased it recently to help with breakouts, and so far, so good. It clears up acne pretty well and keeps my skin feeling clean and fresh. It isn’t overly expensive, especially considering how much is in a bottle. The smell is not that pleasant as it is very medicinal, but it definitely works.

Sephora – $32

I love bralettes so much. As a small-chested lady, they are so perfect for me. I honestly have never had an issue with wearing a bra – I never found them to be uncomfortable…that is until I started wearing bralettes. The best thing about them is how comfy they are. It barely feels like I am wearing anything, but I still get enough support that I need. This one from VS is amazing. It has a little bit of padding which is nice, and the adjustable straps and racerback give some added support. The colour is also beautiful.

Victoria’s Secret – $20

I’ve raved about Green Eye Designs before and I’m going to do it again! They are a local shop here on PEI that sells handmade goodies like scarves, jewellery and more. Many of the products are made by a variety of artisans, but the scarves are made by the owner herself. I’ve been loving them and wearing them for 3 or 4 years now and my collection just keeps getting better. This one in particular is warm and thick, so it’s perfect for this time of year. Check out their Instagram to see more!

Green Eye Designs – $25

fullsizerender-2Fitbit Flex

I contemplated the idea of getting a Fitbit in the past, but never gave in. They went on sale for Black Friday, so I caved. With that good of a price ($69!) how could I not? I am actually so happy I got one. My ultimate reasoning was to track my sleeping patterns. I tend to have issues staying asleep or being restless at night and I want to find ways to correct it. The bonus is being able to track my activity and daily steps. Surprisingly, I make a lot more steps in a day than I realized!

Electronic Stores/Wal-Mart/Amazon – $99

img_7719Mocha Latte Loose Leaf Tea

I love me some tea, especially in the fall and winter. I picked up this guy from DavidsTea’s fall collection and it’s so good. I love the smell of coffee but not the taste – I find it bitter. This is perfect for me. Tea with coffee beans and cocoa, but also tea leaves. It takes the bitterness of the coffee down and adds in a sweet and creamy taste. Unfortunately it’s no longer available, but hopefully they will put out something similar!

DAVIDsTEA – $7.98

img_7720Christmas Colouring Book

It’s no secret that I love adult colouring books. It’s a great way for me to relax and unwind. I really wanted a Christmas themed book to feel more festive so I picked up this one at Wal Mart for 40% off. It’s so great! I prefer bigger spaces opposed to tiny detailed pieces, and this has that covered. Johanna Basford’s books are always great, so this one was definitely not a disapointment.

Book Stores/Wal-Mart/etc. – $15

I have been obsessed with Younger lately. It’s such an awesome show. The plot, the acting, the fashion – all of it. I’m a big Hilary Duff fan and have been since I was a kid, so the fact alone that she is in it makes me happy. Watching it lights such a fire under me to be a badass lady boss. This show does such an excellent job of showcasing strong female characters that are killing it. Definitely one to add to you list, ladies!

That’s it for this time around, folks! Do you like or use any of these things? Let me know in the comments! As always, please share this post with your friends and follow me on social media. All links are in the sidebar or on my contact page. Thanks for reading and come back soon!
